Connecting to eduroam on Windows 10 Devices at West Suffolk College
Step 1: Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray and make sure the Wi-Fi is turned on.
Wait a moment for the list of nearby networks to appear.
Click on ‘eduroam’ then click ‘Connect’.
Step 2: You will be asked for your user name and password.
Enter your full college email address in the user name field. Enter your password in the password field.
Your email address and password for eduroam are the same as the ones you use for all other West Suffolk College systems and computers.
Step 3: You may be asked if you want to continue connecting. Click ‘Connect’ to proceed.
Step 4: Wait a moment for Windows to verify and connect to eduroam Wi-Fi.
Step 5: You should now be connected and Windows will display the words ‘Connected, secured’ to let you know eduroam is ready to use.
If you encounter issues connecting to eduroam, please first double-check you are entering your full college email address ending in wsc.ac.uk, and that you have typed your password correctly.
If you are a West Suffolk College staff member or student, please visit the college’s IT Services department for further support.
If you are a roaming user or a visitor from a different eduroam institution, their IT department will be your first point of contact.
